In DT we will be looking at structures and using our knowledge and research to successfully build and evaluate our own.
Our computing theme this term is using and applying skills. Some of this will include ‘unplugged’ activities which do not involve a computer, but which embed computational thinking skills.
Our topic work is based on Mexico. We will be finding out about the differences between regions of Mexico and the UK, including both the physical and the human geography.
This term we will be looking at new beginnings to help support the transition into year 5.

Year 5 will have PE on a Thursday afternoon and swimming on a Tuesday morning. Please make sure your child has their PE kit (plain white T-shirt, plain black shorts and pumps) and their swimming kit in school on these days. Please ensure that earrings and any other jewellery are removed beforehand.
Our RE topic this term is based on the question ‘what do different people believe about God?’
We will be focusing on both Christianity and Judaism.
